Ecuador Begins H1N1 Flu Vaccination Program, number of cases increasing

Eluniverso.com reported… Thousands of Ecuadorians went Tuesday to the public health centers to be vaccinated against H1N1 flu, which has seen a resurgence in recent weeks and has left 593 infected and 57 dead so far this year.

The government imported 300,000 doses of the vaccine. 100,000 doses are slotted for Pichincha province. THe remaining doses are reserved for Manabi and Esmeraldas provinces.
