Ecuador: Authorities seize 230 kilos of cocaine, belonged to Sinaloa cartel

wradio.com.co reported Colombian police, together with the Ecuadorian authorities seized 230 kilos of cocaine in the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador, in an operation that left two Ecuadoreans and Colombian captured.

Dijin said: “The operation, coordinated from Bogota, allowed the National Police of Ecuador capture three people when a vehicle carrying 230 kilograms of cocaine.”

According to research, the detainees worked for a structure of the Mexican Sinaloa cartel and had the function of storing and transporting the drug from Ipiales to Ecuador, before being sent to Central America.
