Ecuador police cracked down an international band comprising four African and three Latin America, dedicated to the cloning of credit cards, said today the Ministry of the Interior. The foreigners were detained in “flagrante delicto” during operations made the day before in the coastal cities of Guayaquil and Quevedo, said the Ministry in a statement. He added that captured some of them “with sufficient proof that would demonstrate his involvement in the cloning of credit cards”.

The portfolio added that this criminal organization operated in different countries such as: Bolivia, Brazil, Peru and Ecuador, where detrimental to citizens and financial institutions.
