British destroyer arrives Falkland Island (Malvinas) for routine exercises

One of the most powerful ships of the British fleet, HMS Dauntless, arrived in the Falklands and final leg of a six-month journey that has taken him to the west of Africa.

The destroyer, capable of moving high-tech anti-aircraft missiles and 60 military personnel, is in the South Atlantic to perform “routine exercises”, the Ministry of Defence.

However, its presence reinforces the Argentine claims over the militarization of the region. HMS Dauntless became the first Type 45 destroyer, a series of warships latest generation of the Royal Navy, who visits the South Atlantic. Read Article
