Guayaquil Ecuador – Los Ceibos higher end residential area hit by rash of recent criminal activity

The nearly 900 families residing in the residential sector of Los Ceibos remain concerned about the rash of thefts and criminal acts that are performed continuously in the sector. Security, which is run by private guards and 10 troops of the National Police, as indicated by the inhabitants, not enough.

Christian Morales, a resident of North Ceibos citadel, has revealed his annoyance after gangland victim on two occasions. “It was horrible, the consequences are and in this area, we are all paranoid and fear that something happens to us” he says. Read Article
