Alert: Confirmed case of measles Bogota Colombia, patient arrived on flight from Spain

Bogota is on alert after report by the Surveillance System in Public Health District importing a case of measles. This is an adult who entered the country from Spain and went to the hospital network where the virus was confirmed.

The infected person did not have antecedent vaccination against measles and rubella. Through actively seeking institutional and monitoring surveillance system has not shown an increase in the reporting of measles or laboratory-confirmed other cases. Read Article
