Home robberies on rise in Guayaquil Ecuador

Sauces, Samanes, Guayacanes y Alborada in 2011 were reported as being the most insecure areas of Guayaquil.
Stealing home was one of the major crimes reported in the Prosecutor attached to the Judicial Police in Guayaquil during the first two months of 2012, where 260 cases were reported, equivalent to 4 burglaries a day in Guayaquil. In the same period of 2011 there were 214 complaints.
