Update the activity of the volcano Tungurahua – November 29, 2011 10:00 (tl)

In the morning, at around 06h11 (local time), there was an explosive event that produced a small pyroclastic flow that developed north western flank of the volcano and covered a distance of approximately 500 m. Associated with this event, and from that time are generated vapor emission columns, gas with moderate to heavy load of ash reached as maximum height of 4 km above the summit and directed towards the south-east and the West.
