49th group of FARC takes hit in Caquetá, large supplies weapons, drugs seized

Florence, July 23, 2012. In offensive operations in the last few hours, troops of the Twelfth Brigade in coordination with members of the Regional Military Intelligence Brigade Against Drug Trafficking, Southern Naval Force and Department of Caquetá Police, killed in military operations development alias “Julian,” gang member Hector Ramirez 49 of the FARC, seized while important war material and supplies.
The operations were conducted in the village of El Vergel, municipality of Curillo, Caquetá, where soldiers from Mountain Infantry Battalion No.34 “Juanambu” seized a rifle galil 556, a 9 mm pistol, a shotgun Fisto, 17 suppliers to rifle, two suppliers for gun, 21 hand grenades, 1265 rounds of different calibers, a night vision lens, 23 mines, 45 teams of homemade campaign, a supply of drugs, nine radio stations, 100 meters of cable and documentation important for military intelligence in the development of future operations.
