Yellow Fever outbreak in Alto Inambari Huyncalla Peru

This deadly disease, was reintroduced in Sandia (25-01-2012) claiming the lives of a farmer of 45 years of age, male sex, district of Alto Inambari Huyncalla community who died at his home with signs and symptoms of yellow fever, it was confirmed by the National Institute of Health (NIH). Also, a farmer of 57 years of age in the same area, the symptoms of yellow fever, was hospitalized at the hospital has received the Sandia and symptomatic treatment and good outcome, this case is suspect, not yet confirmed by the INS.
