Yellow alert lifted for Turrialba Volcano, but National Park remains closed to tourists

Before the Turrialba Volcano back to a state of relative normality, according to technical and scientific centers, the National Emergency Commission (CNE) today lifted the state of yellow alert. The CNE left a green alert status (prevention) for the National Park area and the cantons of Turrialba, Alvarado, Jiménez and Oreamuno, due to the colossal remains active and generates potential risks to people and animals.
