Yapacaní, Bolivia: 24 locations discovered with illegal lumbering operations

At least 24 points from illegal logging were detected for three days Yapacaní Township, in the territorial jurisdiction and is adjacent to rivers and Ibabó Ichilo.

This new tear to the main reserve forest of Santa Cruz, was detected in the area inhabited by settlers that form the core of peasants called Ibabó and Victoria, where besides the makeshift “collection centers”, found a camp with lots of chainsaws , and gasoline engines, and other amenities such as solar panels and TVs, as confirmed by the municipal authorities and witnesses of the place.
