Wooden statuettes stuffed with cocaine to be sent from Chile to United States

Small wooden figurines stuffed with cocaine were confiscated by Chilean officials in Santiago before they were sent to the United States through private mail. They were concealing about 1 kilogram of cocaine, Municipios al Dia reports. The statuettes, wooden horses, were also packed with carbon paper, which helped conceal the drugs from X-rays. The drugs were discovered after inspection at the airport. They were sent from an individual with the alias “Junior Pierre,” and were intended to arrive in Massachusetts. Read Article
