According to ElComercio, Louis J. was standing in his front yard, in La Pradera, talking to a friend Tuesday June 14th at 5 p.m. when two men on motorcycles stopped in front of his house. The men asked for the whereabouts of Louis J.’s son, and Louis J. refused to give them information, the men shot him twice in the face. Louis J. was pronounced dead on the scene while the friend was brought to a hospital for serious injuries. Residents were worried after the explosive attack at Louis J.’s house since there was no increased police security to keep them safe from these criminals. The police say that they are investigating and that this could be connected to Louis J.’s son who was a victim of the bombing and testified about a gunfire exchange that killed two people this past 27th of March in Manta.Read Article
