Venezuela: Tuberculosis cases increase

Prison population and HIV patients are most affected
Tuberculosis is a bacterial infection that primarily attacks the lungs and that although the world has tended to decrease, in Venezuela the opposite has occurred since 2006.

This was the last detailed epidemiological alert issued by the Network of Scientific Medical Societies Venezuelan, indicating that the country has seen an increase in cases has affected the prison population, Indians and patients with HIV-AIDS. Read Article
