Venezuela: opposition party calls for assessment of Chavez’s fitness as head of state

The Venezuelan opposition party Popular Will recorded yesterday an application to the Plenary of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) for assessing the health status of head of state, Hugo Chavez, and to determine if qualified for the presidency.
“We asked the Plenary Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to designate a medical board to determine the location of a possible permanent disability of the president of the republic,” the official told EFE People Will Rafael Veloz.
This seeks to address a group of five doctors determine if the agent can continue in office or whether you need to declare “the permanent vacancy” in office for the remainder of the meeting the Vice President Elias Jaua. Read Article
