Venezuela: Government official succumbs to gun wounds after leaving bank

Juan Carlos Figarella government deputy died Wednesday of respiratory failure after two days of convalescence after being shot by unknown, state radio confirmed. Figarella died Wednesday at a hospital in the town southeast of Ciudad Bolivar in Bolivar state, where he joined earlier this week after being shot by two unidentified men on a motorcycle intercepted him shortly after leaving his vehicle in a bank, confirmed the state-run Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV).
The deputy of the Legislative Council of Bolivar state by the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela suffered respiratory arrest during dialysis who were practicing after he intervened on two occasions, the station said. Read Article
