Venezuela accuses the U.S. of meddling

Eluniverso.com reported the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry yesterday accused United States of “meddling” once the State Department expressed that his country is “concerned” by the sweeping powers granted to the President Nicolas Maduro to rule by decree for a year. In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed its “deep, more categorical and energetic rejection” such statements. Maduro said yesterday, in an act with academics, that the opposition wants to “burn down the country” with his call to leave tomorrow across the country in protest against his Government.
