VenEconomy: Venezuela is a Pressure Cooker at Boiling Point

In Venezuela, unfortunately, it seems like a pressure cooker put on an unattended burner years ago containing multiple abuses, illegalities and violations against the Rule of Law and Justice as main ingredients is at boiling point.

A legitimate claim from students after the mugging and attempted rape of a young woman from the University of Táchira was not paid attention to by a submissive judiciary system that bows to a communist political project. And even more serious is the fact that the response they got from the State was repression and violence from the security and vigilante forces of the area, while they arbitrarily ended up arrested without any evidence over destructive acts to the Táchira state governor’s house. And even worse is that protests nationwide to demand the release of these students from prison have derived into another chain of human rights violations on the part of the Government. Read Article
