U.S. permanent resident detained while attempting to smuggle marijuana at Mexico/Arizona border crossing

According to azstarnet.com, a father traveling with his two children was arrested Sunday by Border Patrol agents at the Douglas border entrance in Arizona. David J. Wise a Mexican national and a permanent resident of the United States was discovered to be in possession of about 100 pounds of Marijuana. His Volkswagen contained 108 packets of marijuana throughout the vehicle. The children were released to a relative. Read Article
