Twenty-Five departments impacted by rains in Colombia – flooding, landslides, road closures

The Government reported that the second wave of rain has affected 25 departments in the country. Overflowing rivers and streams, landslides and road closures are the main consequences of rainfall. Due to difficult weather conditions, the Directorate of Traffic and Transport Police reported that five roads have a total closure by the rains. In Quindio, the road that links Armenia to Ibague, in the La line, is closed by landslide. In Caldas, the road between Puente La Libertad, Fresno still blocked by landslide in the area known as Sabinas. Read Article
