Tlaxcala, Mexico: Leader of human sex trafficking

New statistics relating to human sex trafficking in Tlaxcala, Mexico were revealed this week at a conference in Puebla called, “Citizen’s Forum for the Analysis and Enrichment of the State Strategy for Prevention, Combating and Punishment of Trafficking and Victim Protection,” reports impress.milenio.com. According to the report, there have been 54 preliminary investigations of trafficking crimes in Tlaxcala since 2008 and 40% of those involved children. Also, it was discovered that 90% of the women trafficked to New York City are from Mexico, and all of them claim to be from Tlaxcala.
