Thousands of Ecuadorians to spend New Year’s on Peruvian beaches of Tumbes

Some 3,000 people are expected to enjoy a relaxing and amusing New Year’s holiday at beaches in Peru’s northern Tumbes region, the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Dircetur) said Thursday.
Carlos Zeta, Dircetur’s head, said that Tumbes expects the arrival of Ecuadorian tourists attracted by its delicacies and beaches. He told Andina news agency that many Ecuadorians are high-income tourists who look for quality comfort. Read Article
