Tests For Dengue Vaccine Showing Promise in Latin America

eluniverso.com reported the dengue vaccine developed by the French pharmaceutical Sanofi has shown an efficacy of 60.8 percent in tests with children and teenagers practiced in Latin America, and is effective against all four serotypes of the disease, the company said today. Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccine company division, explained that 20.875 children underwent a study that randomly each obtained three doses of the vaccine and others a placebo, at intervals of six months.
