Tachira Venezuela: so far 2012 confiscated 925 tons dry goods leaving/entering country illegally

More than 925 tonnes of dry goods of various kinds, have been seized by the National Guard and Customs at what has transpired this year, for attempted illegal entry or removal of the national territory, through pathways communication Tachira border with Norte de Santander.

The commander of the Border Detachment No. 11 National Guard Lt. Col. Wilmer Alarcon, said that along with management of the Main Customs of San Antonio del Tachira, led by Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Lopez Nieto, take measures to guard against smuggling, which have allowed to practice lots of varied merchandise retention and development of administrative records.
