Suspected FARC guerrillas attacked Colombian governor

The governor the Colombian department of Nariño, Raul Delgado, was not injured during an attack with explosives by suspected guerrillas of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in the town of Lewis (southwest), where he met with eradicators of drug crops.
The Nariño Government Secretary Peter Obando said Monday that the incident occurred on Sunday and that the harassment did not appear injured or killed, but did cause panic when the meeting took place in a public square. Obando said he first presented the detonation of an explosive and then heard gunshots from the mountains, however clarified that the governor’s life was in danger any time. Read Article
