Semi-submersible found near Puna Island, in Ecuador

A homemade semi-submersible was discovered hiding among weeds and mud on a small island, near Puna Island, in the Gulf of Guayaquil, Ecuador. The semi-submersible was approximately 15 meters long and 4 meters wide, according to a report released by El Universo. It was found on June 25, 2012 through a joint effort carried out by officials from the Coast Guard, the Captain of the Port, and the Armed Corps.
