Sangolquí Ecuador: victim in auto accident with injuries denied medical services

According to elcomercio.com, on Sunday at 07:45 am in El Carmen, in Sangolquí, July Tipán, age 50, suffered a broken tibia and fibula in his right leg as a result of being involved in a traffic accident. An ambulance and firefighters sought medical care for the victim at all the public and private hospitals in canton Rumiñahui where the victim was denied services. One of the firefighters said that because the victim has no financial means, he is not provided medical care. At ten a.m. ambulances transported him to Quito in hopes of finding medical care for the injured. Read Article
