Retired soldier shot by robbers in his home in Buenos Aires, Argentina

A retired soldier was assaulted and shot in his home over the weekend in Ramos Mejía, Buenos Aires, according to larazon.com.ar. The 54-year-old man was accosted by four burglars after parking his car outside his home. Inside the home, the thieves were attacked by the man’s 80-year-old mother, until both her and her son were subdued. After finding a large amount of weapons in the home, the burglars believed the man must be a member of the military or police force and shot him 8 times with his own guns. He was struck twice in the abdomen and twice in the legs. He is being held in critical condition at the Ramos Mejía Hospital.
