Quito, Ecuador: Robberies of individuals up 28 percent through March 2012

According to the Information System for Governance (Sigob, Database System), thefts from people rose this year in Quito, by 28%. Between January and March 2038 events registered capital, compared to 1592 same period in 2011. That is, there were 446 robberies reported over people. In January 626 events were reported (compared to 512 in January 2011), in February 609 (457 last year) and March 803 (623). Read Article
