Puerto Vallarta: Increase in mosquitoes due to recent rains

The rains that have occurred in recent days in Puerto Vallarta significantly increase the presence of mosquitoes whenever there are more puddles and standing water in homes, said Rafael Nunez Gomez, director of the Eighth Sanitary District. In this regard noted that not all mosquitoes are of Aedes aegypti, which is the transmitter of dengue, but there are two types, the Culex and Anopheles, which only cause discomfort among the population but do not transmit any disease.
