Protestors cause traffic chaos in downtown Buenos Aires, Argentina

Union protesters from the Port of Buenos Aires have cut off traffic on the infamous 9 de Julio, one of the largest avenues in the world, near the Obelisco and traffic in downtown Buenos Aires has become absolute chaos, reports infobae.com. Protestors gathered at the Obelisco this morning around 11:30 calling for “historical reparation.” Adding to the congestion are the buses the protesters arrived in which have been parked near the Plaza de la República and are also blocking off Corrientes Ave.
