Proposed Minimum Taxi Fare Increase Cuenca Ecuador

eLUNIVERSO.COM reported a study presented the University of Cuenca, entity engaged on June 11, passed by the Council of this city, determined that it must be increased in this jurisdiction the minimum race day of $1.14 to $1.39 and the night $1.36 to $1.67. The study concluded that the cost of the boot should be in the daytime race from $0.55. The value of km traveled on the day will be $0.29 and in the night $0.39; and the waiting time is $0.06 per minute. These minimum race costs, representing $0.29 more than in the rest of the country, shall inform the Tripartite Commission formed by delegates of the taxismo in the canton, of citizenship and of the Municipal company of mobility (EMOV) tomorrow, will be put to the Cantonal Council for consideration at the next session, before coming into force.
