President of Brazil Speaks at the UN General Assembly

bb.co.uk on September 25, 2013 reported that President Dilma at the UN General Assembly in New York City, called upon the UN, a proposition to design international legislation to protect online security. Brazil discussed installing submarine cables between Brazil and other countries that would avoid data being monitored by the US. In addition, this would include foreign companies to keep information on Brazilian citizens in Brazil. Dilma also addressed the current situation with the US by stressing such actions cannot be left untouched. In response, Obama stated the actions of the NSA could take months to review. Read Article
