Ponce, Puerto Rico: Authorities Detain Two Dominicans, One Venezuelan, Seize 682 Kilos of Cocaine

From lainformacion.com on August 14, 2013- U.S. authorities arrested two Dominicans and one Venezuelan for carrying 681 kilos of cocaine on a ship 296 kilometers south of Ponce. The operation started when a U.S. Border Patrol plane spotted a suspicious boat and called in the Coast Guard to investigate. Since September 2012, the U.S. Coast Guard in Puerto Rico seized 20,500 kilos of cocaine and around 3,900 kilos of marijuana in twenty-two operations.  Read Article [ge0_mashup_map]
