Planned Student March Turns into Riots, Santiago, Chile

•The student march planned for today has turned into various riots and skirmishes with the police in Santiago, Chile.
•According to lanacion.cl, the police have utilized such crowd control methods as tear gas and water cannons as the officers announced that the manifestations were not authorized.
•Police officers have been preventing groups of students from reaching the sites of the incidents such as Plaza Italiza and the area of Alameda con Ahumada.
•In the area Puente del Arzobispo, there have been reports of arrests of individuals for throwing Molotov bombs. Read Article
