Petatlán, Mexico: Army Seizes Weapons and Drugs

From Red Noticiero on June 25, 2013- Soldiers from the Mexican Army were on a routine patrol on a road that connects Petatlán to the village of La Palma when they noticed some plant matter that looked like marijuana. Upon checking the area, the soldiers found 10 kilos of marijuana, 300 grams of marijuana seeds, an AR-15 rifle, two AK-47s, and four magazines, two for the AR-15 and two for the AK-47. In addition, authorities found 108 cartridges. That action took place in the framework of trying to reduce violence through the implementation of the Federal Law of Firearms and Explosives.
