Peruvian officials alert to abstain from consuming fish, visiting beaches

Peruvian health officials alerted the public and recommended to stop eating fish and avoid visiting the beaches. Nearly a thousand dolphins found dead in recent weeks, with more than fifteen hundred birds, pelicans and boobies. The causes are still unknown. Peruvian health authorities fired warning sirens and recommended that people avoid beaches and stop eating fish, after appearing mysteriously dead in the sand the last few weeks about a hundred thousand dolphins and pelicans. “The Executive Offices of Environmental Health will coordinate with municipalities to give instructions to the population of restricting access to the beaches where seabirds have been presented or dead dolphins,” he said in a statement the Ministry of Health.
