Peruvian journalist shot who had reported on smuggling

A journalist for Peruvian daily La República was shot in Juliaca and is out of danger. The prosecution of the Peruvian town has not ruled that police and smugglers involved in the act because days before the reporter published a story on alleged charges made by members to allow police to enter commodity traders illegally from Bolivia, reports the newspaper The Region Southern Peru.
