Peru: State of Emergency continues two provinces of Ucalyali region for dengue outbreak

Cronicaviva.com.pe reported in order to continue with actions against dengue outbreak, the government extended by 30 days, from January 22, the state of emergency in the provinces of Coronel Portillo and Atalaya Padre Abad in Ucayali region.
The provision was established by Supreme Decree 008-2013-PCM, published today in the journal Legal Standards of Official Newspaper Peruvian. The tasks continue to counter dengue by the regional government of Ucayali and the municipalities involved, with the intervention of the National Institute of Civil Defense (INDECI). Read Article
