Peru: sex trafficking ring moving young girls to work in mining town of Chala

Young girls are lured by the possibility of working and or kidnapped in Lima, Cusco, or Puno.
Held captive and forced to work as prostitutes. There documents are often taken from them.

elcomercio.pe reported that what happened to the two girls is a practice used to attract teenagers to work in bars and nightclubs in Chala. Fiscal Flores Tovar explained to El Comercio that due to increasing mining activity in the area, these local brothels and proliferate in the periphery.

He said that in the area known as New Chala 20 nightclubs will work. According to him, there remain captive girls who are captured by deception in Cusco, Puno and Lima.
