Peru seeks better ties with Qatar, says envoy

The newly-appointed Peruvian Ambassador to Qatar, Julio Florian, said his country hopes to establish strong relations with Qatar in terms of bilateral trade and cultural field and for both nations to have a common political goal.
The Peruvian embassy opened its doors in March 2011 in parallel to another one in Kuwait and a General Consulate established in Dubai this month. There are about 100 Peruvians residing in Doha, most of them working either as pilots or engineers. Read Article
