Peru: mother discovers daughter raped by neighbor, takes justice into her own hands

MOTHER OF SEXUAL ABUSE VICTIM TAKES MATTERS INTO HER OWN HANDS
In Iquitos Peru, a mother discovered that a neighbor, a male age 50 had been having sexual relations with her minor daughter for three years according to cronicaviva.com.pe. The daughter had not reported the incidents to her mother in fear of reprisal from the assailant against her family. The mother informed Primera Noticia’ de ATV (Television Program), and went to the residence of the alleged perpetrator, Benjamín Sánchez Casanova

Sánchez Casanova was not at home, and the mother of the victim confronted verbally and physically the family of the assailant. The victim is in custody of the police awaiting a medical evaluation.
