Peru: High Concentration of Pay TV Market

Posted on August 5, 2014 • Filed under: Business, Peru reported the Peruvian Pay TV market is the one with the highest concentration among Latin America’s Top seven markets, according to Dataxis. Telefónica (Movistar) has 58.6% of the total subscribers in the country, which represent nearly 885,000 customers. The other operators that stand apart in the Peruvian market are DirecTV and Claro (América Móvil), although they only reach 16.4% and 14.8%, respectively. Read Article
