Peru: Doctors stage massive strike

Doctors in the Peruvian Social Security (Essalud) today began an indefinite strike will disregard a thousand surgeries and 70,000 outpatient visits on a daily basis, as quantified by the local press union’s general secretary of the institution, Santiago Renteria Vinces.
