Pativilca, Peru: Major investment in agriculture to have direct impact on 30,000 families

The irrigation of about 150,000 acres of agricultural Lima and Ica will be improved with the 28 projects under the Programme Irrigation Subsector (PSI) of the Ministry of Agriculture with an investment of 50 million soles, it was reported today. The implementation of the projects, benefiting more than 30,000 families engaged in agricultural exports, has been possible thanks to the contribution of the farmers themselves and the PSI partnership involving the Government of Japan.
