Pastaza Ecuador: Russian tourists attacked, robbed by Indigenous group in jungle

ecuavisa.com reported that Russian tourists who were attacked by suspected members of a community inPastaza recovered part of their belongings. The police acted as the mediator of this installment. Inhabitants of the community of Lipuno, located in the jungle of Pastaza, decided to voluntarily return the things that would have taken the couple on November 23. The delivery was formalised through a group of policemen who moved to the area in a helicopter from aeropolicial, as reported by the Chief of the district three, Iván Custode. Vladimir Glazunov and Yulia Nazarova, say that it is just a part of what was snatched them and added that the recovered equipment are damaged.
