Paraguay, outbreak of hoof and mouth disease in September due to human error

Paraguayan health officials said Tuesday that an outbreak of FMD in cattle in the department of San Pedro (center), found in September, was a human error. “After recent laboratory analysis we can affirm that the outbreak of FMD found in the department of San Pedro was produced by a fault in the system of vaccination, human error,” said Daniel Rojas told reporters today, president of the National Quality and Animal Health (SENACSA).
