Paraguay: Europeans Detained with 6.1 Kilos of Bolivian Cocaine

From Lainformacion.com on June 11, 2013- Agents of the Paraguayan counternarcotics brigade arrested a 26 year old Spanish, and a 50 year old Italian who were attempting to smuggle 6.1 kilos of cocaine to Amsterdam. The drugs were detected by a police dog during a routine check at the cargo area of the Silvio Pettirossi de Asunción international airport. The drugs were hidden in three suitcases amongst white rubbery materials used as fillers to disguise the drugs. The cocaine came from Bolivia and by the time it reached its final destination it would have been worth $600,000 USD. Read Article
