Pan American Health Organization issues Dengue alert

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) has issued an epidemiological alert that urges member countries to deepen the early detection of cases of dengue , reported the Ministry of Health of the Nation noted that the prevention campaign developed since 2009 possible to reduce 96 percent of infections in Argentina. According to official data from international organization in 2011 Member States reported 979,774 cases of dengue, of which 15,860 had severe forms requiring hospitalization and 692 died.
